Chef de cuisine Wolfgang Kanow creates fresh and inventive cuisine with local products. You will encounter traditional dishes paired with exotic and aromatic influences for a special taste sensation. After having worked with star chef Rolf Schmidt as sous-chef, Berlin-born Wolfgang Kanow started leading the ALvis kitchen team in 2002.

At Restaurant ALvis you will enjoy home-baked bread, homemade pasta, open-field vegetables, fresh regional meat and poultry and selected wines from Germany, France and Italy. Our idyllic ivy-clad courtyard garden is one of our very special highlights since it provides the ideal setting to dine in an unhurried and cordial atmosphere, enjoy a good glass of wine and let the diverse impressions of the vibrant city Berlin take effect.
